The NoJack Team

Scott Matthews

Scott Matthews

A former road racer and current triathlete, Scott's been an avid cyclist for many years and gained extensive knowledge of bicycle maintenance and repair while working in bike shops when growing up. He brings an informed perspective as both a rider and mechanic in helping to tailor NoJack’s fit and functionality.

Scott also has a background in writing and writes for our blog and other social media outlets, along with all our other marketing activities. He even wrote this bio that you’re reading right now. Yeah, right here. This is the one.

Rithy Chhean

Rithy Chhean

Rithy is a power engineer with a master's in electrical engineering from Cal Poly SLO. He has a hands-on approach to technical issues and an ability to create and fix just about anything.

Rithy is the team’s hardware specialist on everything from the electronics to mechanical components.

His other specialties include hand-to-hand combat and explosives, with his finely honed powers of seduction being possibly his deadliest weapons. He is also our pool boy.

Ash Eldritch

Ash Eldritch

Ash has been coding since he was a wee child and still loves it. He is also a serial entrepreneur, founding tech companies in London, Tokyo and San Francisco. He built his first invention when he was eight—a functioning racing arcade machine made entirely of cardboard and toilet paper—and regards this as the pinnacle achievement of his life.

Ash is creating NoJack’s firmware, smartphone software and web assets. He’s also enthusiastically getting his hands dirty (and burned) on the electrical engineering side, soldering together our earliest prototypes.

Daniel Tan

Daniel Tan

Dan is marvellous and our chief marketeer and movie director.

The four members of NoJack bring together diverse experience and expertise: entrepreneurial and leadership experience, software development, electrical and mechanical engineering, and bike mechanics.

Everyone on the team is either a competitive cyclist, enthusiast, or commuter themselves, so we're very motivated to make NoJack the smartest, toughest, most effective theft deterrent that it can be.
